I ordered this flute a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it on the daily. The sound is amazing. Love that it can be broken down into three parts and carried in my backpack on hikes.
It’s a solid instrument and esthetically good looking.
Zero experience playing a flute but this one makes it so easy to belt out some beautiful tunes. Very ZEN.
Customer service was a 10 and answered and resolved any questions/ concerns.
Totally content with this purchase.

How does a 3d printed thing evoke such a natural and earthly sound? 432hz is no joke, the 3% Native American in my blood took notice of my humble novice attempts with this instrument and invoked a righteous grounding and connection deep within me. No clue what I’m doing, but I like the way it sounds!

When I saw the post of it being played I knew I wanted to try one. I recently got mine and also bought one for a friend. Easy to learn and I am having a blast playing. Great option for someone who wants a low cost effective instrument to play!

I got the mystery color F#4 drone flute, it is by far the best sounding flute I’ve received from iamsound! The colors were stylish and the sound quality is crystal clear. Amazing flute for quality and price.

as much as I love the drone flutes, this single barrel bad boy has a very expressive tone, is easy to play and for whatever reason, I just like playing it the most out of my IAS collection.

So I’m gonna give them a 5 but it comes with stipulations. My flute arrived broken yesterday. The pieces that connect to each other had broken off during shipping. I was not happy but they responded to me within 24 hours and are not making me go through shipping the broken one back. This is how customer service should be handled and I for one am happy about it

So with the multi-color flutes, you do not get to pick your colors, but I rolled the dice and wound up with a Purple and Black Flute! Purple is my favorite color, so that worked great! It sounds as advertised, but I am gonna need lots of practice. All good, I will enjoy it. Great for the price, and it still has a good amount of details to it. Highly recommend! If you for sure want a certain 2 or 3 colors, just buy 2 or 3 flutes in those colors, and assemble them how you like, or ask if they can be shipped that way. 🫡 5-STARS!

Love the sound! So clean and natural, I decided customized with special stain,wood graining and a polyester clear coat, I love the result and everybody love it👏🙏👌

If you're curious about native style flutes, I don't know of an easier way to dip your toes in than picking up a flute from IAM Sound. Considering they are 3d printed there are some quirks that might not exist with flutes made out of wood, etc - but those flutes also aren't so affordable, portable, or easy to clean! I'm having a blast with my F#4 Drone - I definitely plan on picking up some other flutes in the future.
