Great sound. Easy to learn. Arrived assembled - when I attempted to pull the pieces apart (section 3 and 4) they wouldn't budge. I pulled a bit harder and they still wouldn't budge. I pulled really hard and finally they pulled apart but unfortunately one of the male ends broke off inside the female end. I epoxied it and taped it back together. Still sounds great... maybe even better since there is now an airtight seal. Everything has a breaking point - I'd say the breaking point of that joint is about 20lbs of pressure. Still a great instrument. IAS offered 30% off on another instrument as compensation which I was initially insulted by (I wanted a free replacement) but have come around to the fact that I should not have forced the parts apart and should have attempted to use some WD40 or something to loosen the joint.

This small, lightweight instrument is intuitive to hold and play. The small size means you can make a lot of sounds with just one breath. Highly recommend for relaxing in the forest, preparing for meditation, or to play with others.

Love our ocarina, my 8 year old is very excited to have his own sturdy instrument to bring on hikes!

It sounds incredible, my cats don't seem to like the tuning of this one, my wife as well :/ but the birds in the trees outside all gather when i play it in the back yard and it feels ancient and brooding. Feels like an excellent tuning to let go of stress from the day. The pieces slipped together perfectly and the tolerances are tight! For this price, i am amazed to be able to consistently hit the right register, the shape of the finger holes are so much more ergonomic than wooden flutes I've played, making sliding between notes feel intuitive and rooted.

Can't say enough about this wonderful product, looking forward to try all of the tunings and build shapes.

Simple to play with full and dynamic Sound.

Super pleased with this instrument. The quality is great for a 3d print. The sound is better than I expected. I’ll probably buy other instruments from this maker.

At first, I wasn’t sure about this flute—I actually thought mine might be defective. But after some trial and error, I realized the only issue was that I didn’t know how to play it yet. It’s super important to fully cover the holes, and it takes time to figure out how much breath to use—too little, and it won’t sound right. Give it a few weeks of practice, and you’ll start to love it! I have this one and the F4 drone, and they’re both amazing. I take my ocarina on hikes, play it before bed, or just pick it up whenever it feels fun. Keep playing, and over time, you’ll start to feel what sounds good!

I really liked the feel, look, sound and Price of my A4 black single flute. It will be great for both seasoned and beginner flute players in my flute circles!! It was worth the wait!

Super sweet voice on this ocarina. I think it’s made for giants with big barrel chests, but I can get it to rock with some huff and puff. Nice addition to any collection.

I have to say she’s a lot bigger than I thought which I love! The moment I picked it up and started playing it, I could feel the healing vibrations it emanates. Such a beautiful and easy instrument to play! Definitely takes a lot of breath though which I feel deepens your experience!

Awesome flute good for camping

This flute sounds great! It’s sturdy, but lightweight and easy to carry while hiking, camping, or amongst all my other soundbath instruments for a gig. Live the bright color and the ease of playing it! So glad I could catch one before they sold out! Love it, thank you!
