This is a handsome instrument with a lovely sound, although I haven’t mastered the articulation yet; sometimes it sounds a bit asthmatic when you’re playing all three air channels simultaneously. It’s also a little awkward to play, since there’s a fairly wide stretch across the body of the instrument for the left-hand fingers to reach the row of holes on the right side of the flute (and I have large hands!). (I recently ordered an D5 triple drone flute, which has a more accessible array of holes , because the deep, holeless drone is situated underneath the other two air channels rather than directly beside it , as in this F#4 triple drone flute, so the D5 should be easier to play.) All in all, though, I’m satisfied with this flute.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the sound and design of your F#4 Triple Drone Flute. We understand that mastering articulation and finding a comfortable hand position can take some practice, especially when playing all three air channels simultaneously. We appreciate you sharing your experience with the hole placement, and we hope your new F#5 Triple Drone Flute offers a more comfortable playing experience. Thank you for your support, and we hope you continue enjoying your musical journey with our flute.
Once i got used to the fact that it wasn't wood or bone... and realized that it was in fact better for playing in a lot of outdoor settings... I really found myself opening up and exploring with this wonderful little D5 drone. Durable, portable, and weather resistant, it's been great for ceremonies. It's sound and warmth are compelling and. true to the old teaching, I am filling the heart of the flute with my own heart as I play it! I don't see it replacing my branch and bone flutes, but it occupies a place of its own in my family of "flute-people." Thank you!
What a beautiful way to describe your journey with the D5! We love that it’s found its own special place among your flute family and that it’s accompanying you in such meaningful outdoor ceremonies. Thank you for opening your heart to it and sharing such thoughtful words with us. May it continue to bring warmth and beautiful moments wherever you play!
Love my drone flute. Didn't take long to learn the basics and sounds great. I'm going to run it through some reverb and delay and plan to use it in my live set later this week. Experimental electronica dub with a sprinkling of flute. The fact that im confident enough to play it in public just shows how easy it is to learn
We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying the drone flute and feeling confident enough to perform live. Have fun experimenting with your sounds. Wishing you an awesome live performance this week!
I have no idea how to play it. But it sounds amazing. It is fun to play with. And the quality seems great.

We're thrilled to hear you love the D4 Harmonic Ocarina! There are so many beautiful sounds to explore, and we’re glad you’re enjoying the possibilities! Thanks for your wonderful feedback and for being such a great customer.
It's subtle but the Dorian has a nice Celtic tone to it. Like the other drone flutes I've ordered, this does not disappoint. It sounds and looks great! I Am Sound makes playing music accessible and easy. A great way to relax and feel connected to the World.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re happy you’re enjoying the Celtic feel of the Dorian and that our flutes continue to bring you joy and relaxation. We love making music accessible to everyone!
This is my favorite drone flute. I also have the B3 and F#4. The others sound great, no complaints. But the C4 has the best resonance and sounds great even while playing a little softer, even the higher notes. The flute itself is a little denser and just seems extra beefed up, in a good way.
We're thrilled to hear that you love the C4 Drone Flute and appreciate its resonance! Thank you for sharing your experience and for being a valued customer. Enjoy making beautiful music!
The look of this flute is amazing. Perfect tuning and the team has been great
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled you love the flute and had a great experience with our team. Enjoy making music!
Really like this flute. The construction allows me to wear it as a necklace which draws a lot of attention. I play it for people all the time.
We love hearing that! 😊 It’s awesome that you can wear it as a necklace and take it with you wherever you go. Thanks for sharing the music with everyone!

Love my new flute for my sound bath therapy!
We're thrilled you love your new flute and that it enhances your sound bath therapy. Thank you for sharing your experience!
The flute came quickly and sounds great. One note feels slightly off but that could be me. It takes a lot of breath to power all three pipes and so I typically go back and forth between playing the drones and not playing the drones. Definately a head turner.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re glad your flute arrived quickly and that you’re enjoying the sound. And yes, the Triple Drone definitely turns heads!
Super awesome! shipped fast. Just need to practice
Thank you so much! We’re glad you’re enjoying it! A little practice and you’ll be making some awesome sounds in no time.
Purchased a couple of of these to travel and kayak with and let me tell you they did not disappoint! The sound quality and portability are unmatched.
Thank you so much! We love hearing that they’re perfect for your travels and kayaking adventures! So glad you’re enjoying the sound and portability. Thanks for sharing your experience!
Waiting on my order to ship then I can give a real review. Its been over 3 weeks with no update and the description i just read for what I ordered above, says ships within 5 to 8 days
I bought the F# twisted drone. I like it, but for me the two drones overpower the main player.i like it better with one drone plugged. I'm an NAF player with more than 15 years experience and more than 40 flutes. It just looked interesting.
Very mysterious low frequency sound and I love it!!!
Hi Elias! We're so glad you love the mysterious sound. Happy flowing!
The harmonics are great, and working out the changes positioning makes even with the same fingering is even more so. So... larger sizes or different keys in the future?
Hi Jason! We're glad you enjoy the sound! We appreciate your suggestion for larger sizes or different keys. Stay tuned for future updates. Thanks for your support!
Love the quality. Even more the visual design. Very impressed.
Thank you.
Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re thrilled to hear you’re loving both the quality and the design. We appreciate your support!
I had a drone flute arrive damaged and they didn't hesitate to send me a new one. Communication was amazing and the wait was very short.
Thank you so much for the amazing review! We’re glad we could make things right and get a replacement out to you quickly. We appreciate your kind words and support!
As title says a bit clunky and the airflow can be difficult at times. Nice sound but thinking maybe I would've been happier with a diff model.
Thanks for sharing your honest feedback! We’re glad you’re enjoying the sound, even if the A3 feels a bit clunky and the airflow takes some getting used to. We appreciate you giving it a try, and we’d be happy to help you find a model that may feel more comfortable to play.
I took it with me to work and left it in the car on a hot day. The material was extremely flexible when I grabbed it later and distorted the junctions. When I got home I heated it with a hair dryer and rolled it on the counter to round it out again. It’s ok now.
Thanks so much for sharing! We’re glad you were able to get it back into shape and that it’s working well now. Just a quick reminder to keep the flute away from heat and hot cars, as the material can soften and deform when exposed to high temperatures.
Good product / is as stated
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad you're happy with the G3 Harmonic Ocarina. Enjoy making music!
It was kinda weird to play and I thought it would have a better sound. It was a great idea, though. It looks cool.
Hi Aaron, thank you for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback and are glad you like the look of the flute. If there's anything we can do to improve your experience, please let us know!
