This is one of the coolest things I've ever bought. I've had a busy summer and have only tried i out once but it sounds magical and I hope to take it to a ren fair and play it with my elf ears on.

I've been enjoying it, though i have had issues with off key notes that I assume are caused by the segments slipping apart, and moisture accumulates in certain places that causes the sound to cease entirely at times. These issues have been easy enough to mitigate after taking time to understand them but that still causes delays in my practicing.
It's a conveniently portable little flute with a surprisingly great sound with the drone that's fun and easy to play. I've also ordered the larger F#4 Drone Flute 432 Hz for a deeper sound and more spaced out finger holes for my larger hands. My coworkers were also impressed and at least one of them have placed an order.

I just wish there was a little tutorial included. I have no clue how to play this but want to learn. I suppose I can find things on youtube but...ya know.

While we don’t currently include a tutorial with the flute, we do share playing tips and tutorials on our social media accounts. We appreciate the suggestion and will keep it in mind as we continue improving the experience for new players!
I've enjoyed the purchase and the sound is wonderful but I keep struggling to put all three fingers on the second half holes. Maybe the design favors bigger hands or larger fingers.

Love the drone flute, it is fun to play, and really helps to get me in a calm, relaxed but focused mood! Lightweight and sturdy, perfect for travel, hiking, or hanging out on the porch! One of the best purchases I have made!

The F#4 is a little bit harder to play because the hole separations are quite a bit wider than the F#5 but once you get used to it, it is absolutely beautiful sounding. I love it so much. I used some scotch tape to tape the separation pieces together, which makes it a little bit more sturdy. If it’s your first time, trying these Drone flutes out I absolutely recommend the F#4 and the F#5 together. The F#5 is quite a bit easier to learn how to play the notes and then you could transfer it to the F#4 and having them both in 432 Hz when played together they sound amazing. I recommend getting both of them right out of the gate and I’m glad I did. I love them.

F#5 is Super easy to play because it’s so small and definitely would be best for first time flute players /beginnersto learn and then step up to the bigger F#4. Absolutely beautiful sounding in 432 Hz.

Took some time to warm up with it, but am finding my sound as I go. I enjoy playing my C#5 Pocket Drone Flute (440 Hz) throughout the day, and find that I feel relaxed and mellow after! I'm very pleased with the quality and unique selection that I AM SOUND has to offer.

I love this drone flute. I got on for me and one for my boyfriend. I play mine everyday. I work in human services and I incorporate drone flute in my meditation groups I facilitate at my job. It’s easy to learn and reminds me to breath mindfully. Drone Flute is now apart of my daily mindfulness practice.

So let me start by saying my first flute I ordered had some issues. I reached out, honestly not expecting to hear back. They reached back to me and asked for some pictures and a video, and almost immediately sent out a replacement. Needless to say, sometimes there’s a lemon as with any company that sells any type of product. What sets a company apart is how they handle it, and I AM SOUND knocked it out of the park. My flute is fantastic, and I have total confidence and respect for the company as well. I will absolutely be buying more from them. All around, simply FANTASTIC!!!

This is a well-made drone flute, with a deep tone. It is large, but it works with my large hands. I have played native flutes for many years, and it is great that this flute uses traditional fingering —very easy to play. But years of experience are not necessary to get a nice sound out of this flute. Service was very quick for this one.
