The sliding air-track blocks bring a significant improvement to the overall sound quality and even volume in this flute.
The D5 POCKET Drone is our smallest and most affordable drone flute! It is tuned to 432 Hz. It's in the 5th Octave which makes it smaller in size and higher in pitch (about half the size of our flutes in the 4th Octave).
Perfect for hikes or anywhere on the go! The voicing box has built in airways for extra portability and convenience. When moisture clogs, simply cover the airway with your hand and blow the moisture out firmly.
A lot of love and energy has gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print in my basement) and I am excited to see these in the wild!

DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:
This drone flute may arrive split at its main joint for safe travel: press the two halves together firmly until the joint sits completely flush, with a slight twist, and it's whole. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber mallet works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.
