The holes are easy to reach, and the airway system is forgiving while allowing for impressive flexibility in breath control & sound experimentation.

This is an amazing wind instrument for both beginners and PROS alike, and it’s still my personal favorite flute to jam with! (440 is my go-to when jamming with others, spotify, etc).

Fun fact about F# - The key of F# matches the frequency of the Earth! (She hums to it - and humming birds sure do love this frequency according to my tests and play! especially in 432 Hz if you really want to dial it in)

The F#4 Drone Flute has been designed and tested by myself and my friend Ibrahim, who happens to live in Egypt!

ABOUT V2:

We designed the 2.0 version of this drone flute to make “expansion packs” a little easier. This drone flute is actually the same in size, design, and shape - just with a change in the bottom piece configuration. V2 offers the same exact sound and playing experience as the original version, just with an updated physical design that supports easier modular expansion.

This version / configuration introduces a larger bottom connector piece, making it simpler to remove /  reattach compatible V2 expansion components (we also sell v1 expansion packs that will match our original v1 of this drone flute as we transition - both still sound amazing!)

DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:

This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber malot works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.
