IAMSOUND presents the C4 Drone Flute in 432 Hz
For the 440 Hz version, Click Here.
The C4 Drone is our first flute in the scale of C! This flute is a lot bigger than our F#4 drone (almost as big as the A3). The holes are not difficult to reach, and we even modified the left barrel outer shell to improve comfortability with your left hand. I love the deep tones this flute produces. Welcome to the fold, C!
This C4 Drone is tuned to 432 Hz and it is in the 4th Octave
This is also a great drone flute for hikes (be prepared to blow minds of not only fellow humans, but also the birds and wild-life waiting to dance with you). It's also a great flute to bring in your car or anywhere on the go! (just be careful not to leave it in direct sunlight / heat).
LIMITED INVENTORY/ Check back often for restocks + new colors
- Made from eco-friendly materials
- Tuned to 432 Hz
- Sliding airway blocks for easy moisture removal
- Curved shape + left barrel modification for enhancing ease of play
- Rear opening for optional mic clip and/or wearable neck strap
- Very portable with connecting pieces
DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:
This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber malot works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.

Such a awesome, affordable flute.
Thank you so much! We’re happy you’re loving your flute — it means a lot to us!
My drone flute was not in tune to itself. Overall don’t like the instrument and wish I would have spent on a real natural flute instead. The branding and marketing on the cheap accessible flute works, but I ended up spending more than what was advertised. Would not buy again
It was a gift for a flute player, and she loved it!
Thank you! We are happy that she liked it!
This is a well designed instrument - all the way down to the cutaway to allow the left hand access the lower notes with more ease. I like the sound! It's not a wood flute - but the sound is still very tasty. I have chosen to keep my wood flutes at home and my travel flutes will all be I AM SOUND flutes. They are more durable and I can travel with them feeling a little less paranoid - keeping my wood flutes at home for studio time and high end sound baths.
Thank you for your kind words! We are glad to hear that you appreciate the design and sound of our instrument. It's great that you have found it to be more travel friendly. Thank you for choosing I AM SOUND flutes, and we hope they continue to bring you joy!
it takes a second to figure this one out, there's also a terrible poop whistle note right at the top of the scale you will dread. The 440 disappears if there's any white noise like being on the beach. It also sounds different to the audience compared to playing it, being on the receiving end is 1,000x preferrable to playing it. I will say that I love this, it hits a pleasant range even if playing it is like balancing on a cliff. The poop note is so bad, but everything else is so good I can't help but love it. Mine cracked at the joint on one of the lines but that's whatever, just glued it. If you want a magical dream flute to charm snakes, this is it. If you want a durable lifetime piece this ain't it. If they slip cast this like an ocarina I bet it would be the greatest flute ever made. Again, I kind of hated it at first, but now it's the daily driver and pairs well with others.
