IAMSOUND presents the D5 Pocket TRIPLE Drone Flute

The D5 Pocket Triple Drone is our smallest and most affordable TRIPLE drone flute! It is tuned to 432 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions. It's in the 5th Octave which makes it smaller in size and higher in pitch (about half the size of our flutes in the 4th Octave). Often I choose a lower octave for ceremonial solo play, but if paired with other instruments such as sound bowls, drums, or other flutes, this is a wonderful addition!

Perfect for hikes or anywhere on the go! (be prepared to blow minds of not only fellow humans, but also the birds and wild-life waiting to dance with you). It's also a great flute to bring in your car or anywhere on the go!

A lot of love and energy has gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print in my basement) and I am excited to see these in the wild!

ASSEMBLY:

This pocket drone flute arrives in 3 pieces (most likely already assembled). Please assemble/dissassemble with care and match the pieces by following the IAMSOUND logo as a guide. Since this is a smaller flute, it should be fairly easy to push the pieces together by hand. If more force is needed, lightly tap them in place on top of a soft surface.

Nice Flute!

Easy to play. Triple drone gives nice options for pitch combinations. Pentatonic design lends itself to ease of improvisation. Partial covering of tone holes and sliding of fingers makes it great for getting alternate notes. I wish there were more tutorials on the triple drone for these techniques. Jeremy is doing great work bringing affordable instruments to the masses!
