MYSTERY COLORS (We are mindful of color choices and aesthetic when color-blocking. We used to call these "happy little accidents", but now they feel more like "happy little upgrades".... You'll notice most of my reels demonstrating our flutes usually show a multi-color, because I LOVE them! The price will remain the same on these because it doesn't cost us any extra)
HAVE FUN with the MYSTERY SURPRISE and remember, these are IN STOCK and ship out within a couple of days!
This D4 Double Flute is tuned to 440 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions. It's in the 4th Octave and has a somewhat tall / narrow shape.
Perfect for hikes or anywhere on the go! (be prepared to blow minds of not only fellow humans, but also the birds and wild-life waiting to dance with you). It's also a great flute to bring in your car or anywhere on the go!
A lot of love and energy has gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print in my basement) and I am excited to see these in the wild!
LIMITED INVENTORY / Check back often for restocks
- Tuned to 440 Hz
- Made from 100% Recycled PLA
- Sliding airway blocks for easy moisture removal

ASSEMBLY:
This pocket drone flute arrives in 3 pieces (most likely already assembled). Please assemble/dissassemble with care and match the pieces by following the IAMSOUND logo as a guide. Since this is a smaller flute, it should be fairly easy to push the pieces together by hand. If more force is needed, lightly tap them in place on top of a soft surface.

This flute plays like a dream. The low, velvety notes that it produces are so satisfying to listen to. It also feels very comfortable to play (not too large). I own other flutes and ocarinas by I Am Sound and I love them all, but this one is my favorite.
Awesome! We’re glad the D Drone Flute resonates with you — it truly has that dreamy, grounding tone. Thank you for your continued support and for sharing your experience with our instruments!
I knew it was good when I played it for the first time and my wife said "WOW! What is that sound?"
Great! We love hearing stories like this. It sounds like the Black Drone Flute made a great first impression! Thanks for sharing your experience and for spreading the sound.
I can’t recommend this company enough. I absolutely love my flute and would recommend them to anyone.
Sadly it looked used, and it was warped. So it doesn't fit together well. I was thinking about gluing it together. But, but I'll see about a return. I actually was just told this recently and havnt had a chance to see about exchange it. But when it is together it does sound really nice
This is my second flute I bought with them. The first flute was an F sharp, and when I got it, it wasn’t made correctly the sound wouldn’t push through right when I contacted customer service customer service was really nice and timely and mailed me a new flute right away. The D4 is technically my third flu but the second flu I bought and it’s amazing material quality way better than F sharp after having the F sharp for about a month and a half the connection points started to become worn and it doesn’t stay together anymore hence the reason why I had to buy a D flute.
Hi Julian! We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced with your first flute. We always strive to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service. Thank you for your support and we'll continue to do better. Happy playing!
