IAMSOUND presents the G4 Triple Drone Flute - Now with advanced / premium material options.
For the 440 Hz version, Click Here
(These materials have more refined / smooth surface which actually INCREASES the overall SOUND VOLUME - Get ready to go LOUD!)
The G4 Triple features a unique triangular airway design making it very comfortable and versatile! The bass drone barrel is positioned on the back allowing you to pair it with either of the playable airways!
This G4 Double Flute is in Octave 4 and tuned to 432 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions that are tuned similarly!
A lot of love and energy have gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print) and I am excited to see these in the wild!
Tuned to 432 Hz
- 100% recycled PLA
- Triangular airway channels for easy harmony pairings
- Sliding airway blocks for easy moisture removal
- Rear opening for optional mic clip and/or wearable neck strap
- Very portable with connecting pieces
DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:
This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber malot works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.

Definitely its own thing! The mount piece takes getting used to. I found my lips get tired... but it's OK! the placement of the holes and the sound is great. Only thing I am curious about is when playing with a microphone - the bottom hole for the main drone is facing downwards... not sure how a microphone will pick it all up, specially in a close mic situation.
Thank you for your feedback, Julien! We're glad to hear that you're enjoying your new flute. As with any new instrument, it may take some time to get used to the mount piece and playing with it. As for playing with a microphone, we recommend experimenting with different positions and distances to find the best sound. We appreciate your curiosity and hope you continue to enjoy playing!
Great sound
Hi Rob! We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying the sound of our G4 Triple Drone. Happy playing!

Love the enthusiasm! 🔥 You’re going to have so much fun exploring those sounds!
Can you post a fingering chart somewhere? It doesn't follow all the same patterns as other flutes. Also, is this tuned to just intervals? When I tried to use a tuner to experiment with fingering, it was way off. I assume it's because western tuners are not correct for this instrument.
I have three flutes. This one by is my favorite
Hi Mando,
Thank you for sharing! It’s great to hear this one has become your favorite out of the three. Enjoy making music with it! 🙌
