Collection: IAS x Cody Joshua "HIJAZ Release"

Our 2nd collaboration is with Cody Joshua! A new friend and in incredible flautist - I have so much to learn from him in the woodwind universe.

Think of these collabs sort of like IAMSOUND in a video game encountering wizards along it's path through the Keys and Scales (especially these more experimental ones!)

Together we have been experimenting with the HIJAZ SCALE over the past several months.

Which is an alternative to the "MINOR SCALE" normally experienced with flutes such as ours (especially drones). These new sounds bring more of a Egyptian feel to the melodies, and when paired with a drone it makes me want to summon snakes!

We are confident you will fall in love with this new HIJAZ addition to your flute journey :)
