This modular kit allows you to expand and reconfigure your original F#4 Drone Flute in 432 Hz, unlocking new airflow, feel, and playing possibilities within the F#4 ecosystem.
Important Note: Must have the original / v1 F#4 Drone Flute in 432 Hz to go with this!
MYSTERY COLORS (We are mindful of color choices and aesthetic when color-blocking. We used to call these "happy little accidents", but now they feel more like "happy little upgrades".... You'll notice most of my reels demonstrating our flutes usually show a multi-color, because I LOVE them! The price will remain the same on these because it doesn't cost us any extra)

This expansion pack is designed to match the original F#4 Drone Flute design, preserving the sound, tuning, and playing experience you already know while adding modular flexibility.
This expansion pack includes three F#4 extension modules (C#4, D4, E4) along with a dedicated organizer / storage stand, making it easy to swap configurations and keep your parts clean and protected between sessions.
Think of this kit as the door unlock to the F#4 modular system—transforming your single flute into a flexible, reconfigurable instrument without changing its tonal character.

Disassembly / Assembly Notes
Please disassemble with care if doing so for portability:

Slowly wiggle the joints while pulling — do not force

When reassembling, follow the numbering sequence
We recommend:

Connecting pieces part-way by hand

Using a hard floor surface (with rug or carpet)

Gently tapping pieces into place until they lock
(A rubber mallet works great if needed)
This design ensures the airways remain tightly sealed for optimal sound.

love the expansion set and the mystery color. Would have been ok to just do one extension (the longest by itself - no stand). Also would have loved matching air locks to the set, or the ability to purchase them.

Accidentally broke one of these attempting to remove it for the first time but was able to glue it back together
Glad you like it! They’re a bit delicate, so handling them gently when assembling or taking apart will help keep them in great shape. it’s good to hear it’s still sounding great after the repair.

Swap out expansions easily with the snuggest fit. Very impressed.
Personally, as a newbie, i have found the expansions require a little more practice to maintain the notes, that could be just a me thing. Its not a problem though as its made learning the drone flute and its capabilities even more fun ! If you have the flute these are a must have, if youre ordering the flute, add these to your order.

I have really enjoyed experimenting with the new tonalities made available by the expansion pack. C# keeps the flute in the key of F# but with the fifth as the drone note. D turns the F# minor into its relative major. E allows you to play in the key of A with the fifth as the drone note. It’s really fun to take a melody and play it with each of the expansions, hearing the differences. So far it can be challenging to keep the drone barrel from jumping octaves, so there’s a learning curve, but if you’re an experimenter, I recommend the expansion!
