F#4 Dorian — the best-seller learns a new language.

The F#4 is the key that started I AM Sound. Thousands of players. Our all-time flagship voice. Until now, it has always spoken in minor.

The Dorian scale sits in the space between minor and major: it keeps every bit of the emotional depth you love in the classic F#4, then lifts it — a subtle brightness that makes melodies feel open, curious, and forward-moving. Some call Dorian the minor that remembers joy. On a drone flute, where the harmony stays anchored beneath you, it's the scale that makes you want to keep playing.

Same body. Same 4th-octave center. Same steady drone. A new door.

If the classic F#4 is dusk, Dorian is the hour just after — when the light hasn't fully left and everything feels possible.

🛠️ MADE TO ORDER — SMALL BATCH · Part of the F# pre-release collection.

This is a pre-release unit. Printed and assembled after purchase by our distributed network of makers. Estimated ship: 3–4 weeks from order — you'll receive tracking the moment it leaves the shop.

DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:

This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. To disassemble for portability, gently wiggle each joint apart (don't force it). To reassemble, follow the numbering sequence: press the pieces together part-way by hand, then tap into place on a soft surface (a rubber mallet works great too) until they lock. This keeps the airways tightly sealed for optimal tone.

The flagship key, between worlds.
