The F#4 DNA Triple opens a new door at I AM SOUND — instruments as art pieces. Sculptural, experimental, made in limited waves, where the shape is part of the song. It began in the workshop with a question: what if the drones didn't sit beside the melody, but spiraled around it? The DNA is the first answer. It won't be the last.
How it breathes: a triangular airway feeds all three pipes from a single breath. The top point plays the melody on its own — keep it simple whenever you want. Open your breath into the bottom two, and the DNA drones wake.
The evolution: our classic Triple carries a louder drone — a three-hole pipe you play open or covered. The DNA takes a new road: two fully sealed spiral barrels, no holes at all. Nothing to finger, nothing to manage — pure amplification. More volume, more bass, a deeper floor under every note you play.
You play the melody. The DNA carries the depth.
No experience needed. Same F#4 finger map as our original best-seller — the flute that started I AM SOUND. If you can breathe, you can play.
- Key: F#4 · tuned to 440 Hz (standard tuning)
- Voices: 1 melody pipe + 2 fully sealed spiral drones — pure volume + bass enhancement

- Portable: connecting pieces — travels easily
- Ships within 5–8 days — printed, tuned, and sound-checked in the USA · designed with Ibrahim in Egypt
The sound isn't something you force. Take the breath, and let it meet you.
DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY
Your DNA Triple arrives assembled in numbered pieces. If you take it apart for travel, wiggle gently around the joints as you pull. When reassembling, follow the numbering sequence: connect the pieces part-way by hand, then tap them into place on a rug or carpeted floor (a rubber mallet works too) until they lock. We designed it this way so the airways stay tightly sealed.

Real customer stories
I bought the F# twisted drone. I like it, but for me the two drones overpower the main player.i like it better with one drone plugged. I'm an NAF player with more than 15 years experience and more than 40 flutes. It just looked interesting.
