IAMSOUND x John Pattern "Experiments in MAJOR"

Our first collaboration begins with my dear friend John Pattern!

Together we have been experimenting over the past year with the MAJOR SCALE

MYSTERY COLORS (We are mindful of color choices and aesthetic when color-blocking. We used to call these "happy little accidents", but now they feel more like "happy little upgrades".... You'll notice most of my reels demonstrating our flutes usually show a multi-color, because I LOVE them! The price will remain the same on these because it doesn't cost us any extra)

Which is an alternative to the "MINOR SCALE" normally experienced with flutes such as ours (especially drones). These new sounds bring more of a Celtic feel to the melodies, and when paired with a drone it even reminds me of bag-pipes!

This Drone Flute is in the Key of D, 5th octave and is tuned to 440 Hz 

The D5 POCKET Drone is our smallest and most affordable drone flute! It is tuned to 440 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions. It's in the 5th Octave which makes it smaller in size and higher in pitch (about half the size of our flutes in the 4th Octave)

ASSEMBLY:

This drone flute arrives in numbered pieces. Please assemble with care and follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock. We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.
