IAMSOUND presents the A4 Single Barrel Flute - Now with advanced / premium material options.
For the 440Hz version, Click Here.
(These materials have more refined / smooth surface which actually INCREASES the overall SOUND VOLUME - Get ready to go LOUD!)
The A4 Single Barrel Flute has been designed and tested by myself and my friend Ibrahim, who happens to live in Egypt! Tuned to 432 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions. It's in the 4th Octave (although it's still fairly small in size, being in the A scale)
The A4 single is very portable, making it perfect for hikes or anywhere on the go.
A lot of love and energy has gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print in my basement) and I am excited to see these in the wild!
LIMITED INVENTORY / Check back often for restocks + new colors
- 100% recycled PLA
- Tuned to 432 hz
- Sliding airway block for easy moisture removal
- Rear opening for optional mic clip and/or wearable strap
- Very portable with connecting pieces
DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:
This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber malot works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.

I love all of the instruments on this website and already owned a G3 drone ocarina and loved it before buying this one. Notes for this instrument: The head block may come loose with very little effort so be gentle, I am concerned that mine may come off in the future as it already wiggles around. Also, water accumulates very quickly in the whistle and completely disables the ability to play. I would not recommend this to someone without ANY experience playing a whistle instrument, but it's still easy and fun to pick up and play. I am a little disappointed in the range of this instrument, I expected to be able to play a second octave (and you can be it with much difficulty), but I suppose that's a lack of research on my end.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful and detailed feedback, we truly appreciate it!
We're really glad to hear that you're enjoying the instrument overall and that you've had a positive experience with your G3 Harmonic Ocarina as well. It means a lot to us to have your continued support.
Regarding moisture, it's quite normal for condensation to build up in whistle-style instruments, especially during extended play. Taking short breaks and gently clearing the airway can help maintain consistent sound.
We also understand your thoughts on the range. Drone-style instruments are generally designed with a more focused tonal range, but we appreciate your perspective and will certainly take it into consideration.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you ever need assistance!
Thank you kindly!
