MYSTERY COLORS
You cannot select the color. The color is chosen at random from currently available.
(We are mindful of color choices and aesthetic when color-blocking. We used to call these "happy little accidents", but now they feel more like "happy little upgrades".... You'll notice most of my reels demonstrating our flutes usually show a multi-color, because I LOVE them! The price will remain the same on these because it doesn't cost us any extra)
This is our first drone flute in the 3rd octave and it's HUGE! (by far our biggest flute at the moment) Even though it's big, one of our themes for the 3rd octave is going to be minimalism. We wanted to create this flute with the least amount of material possible, while maintaining it's loud / low / rich sound and ease of play.... and that's exactly what we did here! I'm so happy with how it turned out and honestly surprised by how loud it is (especially when you experiment with vocal over-toning or beatboxing into it)
This A3 Drone is tuned to 432 Hz and is our first flute in the 3rd Octave (we're in the big leagues now!)
A lot of love and energy goes into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print in my basement) and I am excited to see these in the wild!

DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY:
This drone flute arrives assembled in numbered pieces. Please disassemble with care if deciding to do-so for portability (slowly wiggle around the joints as you pull). When re-assembling, please follow the numbering sequence. We recommend connecting the pieces part-way by hand, and then finding a hard floor surface (either with a rug or carpet) to tap the rest of the pieces in place until they lock (rubber malot works great as well if needed). We designed it this way to ensure the airways remain tightly sealed.

Real customer stories
Thought this thing was broken when I first got it, but I just had to get used to playing a new instrument. The thing sounds awesome now that I've practiced a bit! My one complaint is that it comes apart very easily, you have to be careful not to bump it while playing or it can throw off the sound. But, if it actually latched together it wouldn't be able to come apart for those that wanted. I can always just super glue it. Excited for this journey!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience.
We’re glad to hear it’s now sounding great after a bit of practice—that adjustment phase is very normal with a new instrument.
We appreciate your feedback about stability while playing—it’s helpful and will be shared with the team.
Excited for your journey with it, and we’re here if you need any tips along the way!
It's a mellow and deep vibe emanating from this flute. It takes a lot of air, but it's good practice for the lungs. I think it sounds fantastic, and I'd buy it again.
Thank you so much for the 5-star review!
We’re glad you’re enjoying that mellow, deep vibe — and yes, it definitely builds great breath control over time too.
We appreciate your support, and we’d love to have you back anytime.
I am disabled with nerve damage in my left arm. The holes are hard to manage. Also it takes a lot of air to get tone.
The harmonious tone leaves you feeling like you just had a sound bath!!🥰
That’s wonderful to hear! We’re glad the flute brings that calming, immersive experience — like a personal sound bath anytime you play.
I have problems reaching around this thing other then that the flute is easy to play and not a lot of breath needed to get a good sound . My wife loves it. She also has problems reaching the keys but still gets after it every night. Happen to come in her two favorite colors, Thanks will get another one soon.
Thank you for sharing this honest feedback! The A3 does have a larger body to achieve that deep tone, so hand stretch can be a challenge for some players. We’re glad to hear it’s still easy to play, breath-friendly, and that both you and your wife are enjoying it—especially nightly sessions 😊 We appreciate the support and look forward to helping you choose the next one.
