The G4 Double Drone has been developed with a lot of care and testing over the past several months and it honestly turned out better than I ever imagined.
The holes are easy to reach and the airway has been designed to allow "just enough" air to keep those nice breathy tones flowing without fading out too fast. This might very well be my new favorite drone flute!
This G4 Double Flute is tuned to 432 Hz so you can have fun with it in music circles and jam sessions. It's in the 4th Octave and has a somewhat tall / narrow shape.
A lot of love and energy has gone into the development of these flutes (along with some flute solos while I watch them print) and I am excited to see these in the wild!

ASSEMBLY:
This pocket drone flute arrives in 3 pieces. Please assemble with care and match the pieces by following the IAMSOUND logo and product images as a guide. It should be fairly easy to push the pieces together by hand. If more force is needed, lightly tap them in place on top of a soft surface.

I received a D4 rather than the G4 replacement. I am having a hard time getting good sound out of the D4. It could be my breathing or technique. On the other hand it has really improved my playing on the g4 that I already had. I think the A4 printed on backside of the pieces is probably correct.
I absolutely love my new drone flute and I haven’t been able to put it down. For the first day or two, all other inhabitants of my house loved the calming tones that washed over them. Since then, I’ve played it so much they’ve begged me to take the flute on a walk so they can have a moment of quiet. Buyer be warned, may not be able to separate from the flute for long enough to allow roommates any sufficient quiet time.
